Across the way you see a sharply dressed man. He stands tall, clothes made from expensive silk from the Far East. From his posture alone you can tell he is someone raised in power and wealth. He's surrounded by several people, all of which you notice have black hair and sharp blue eyes. Curious, you think, they look like him, but they are clearly not related.Sensing eyes on them, they turn and see you. Caught, you stand there as they approach. WAYNE FAMILY FORTUNES - Hailing from Limsa Lominsa, the Waynes were originally shipwrights and wagonbuilders, but soon found their fortune in Thanalan's mining scene generations ago, and moved their work to the dryer climes. The previous scion of the house, Tomas Wayne, was a particularly well-loved chirurgeon in the area. While under an exclusive visa to study in Ishgard, he befriended and later married a lesser daughter of the Durendaire, Marteille. Tomas and Marta soon had a son, Bruce.The Waynes were popular amongst the people, as they worked tirelessly to assist those less fortunate, but their altruism came with a price: their lives. A staged mugging took Tomas and Marta from their son, who survived the attempt.After a troubled childhood, going between his mother’s family in Ishgard and his father’s family in Thanalan, Bruce disappeared for a handful of years. He later returned and became the talk of the town: a loud, proud, slightly obnoxious playboy. He also began to adopt into his family a varied assortment of other orphans — from an acrobatic Viera lad, to a pick-pocket in the markets — as well as his own child from an illicit affair with the ahl’Guul Syndicate’s heiress.The truth behind Bruce Wayne — sometimes styled Bruyce — is that he is the vigilante knight known as the Bat, and has trained the flock that follows him.

 about  Bruce Wayne is the Bat, or the Bat-Man, as some call him. He is schooled in various forms of martial arts, though he prefers the use of his claymore and scythe. He has a sworn code to try and leave those who may walk the darker paths of society alive if he can help it, though it would be impossible to pin extrajudicial executions on him.  about  Dick Grayson, the Night-Wing, was the first of Bruce’s assistants in the Flock, the first of the title of Robin. While older than Bruce at the time of them meeting nearly twenty years ago — given that he is Viera — he is a youthful spirit. His parents, Jon and Marii, left the Forest centuries ago to see the world together. Unfortunately, they were caught in the cross-fire of a racketeering enforcement scheme, and were killed during a performance in Ul’dah. Bruce was quick to extend a hand after this, knowing their shared tragedy. Dick has never known other Viera, save the few he has met with his parents, and does not know the true call of the Forest. He is quite at home with his patched together family.

 about  Jason Todd had a short-lived stint as the second Robin before an unfortunate series of events brought him to death’s door and the Sagolii desert. It would be years before he would meet up again with Bruce Wayne, whom he begrudgingly agreed to rejoin after a lost duel. He still causes a bit of trouble, and doesn’t mind rolling off the script to do what he thinks is right. And he still uses a gunblade much to Bruce’s chagrin.Most of the time, though, he can be found roaming the streets in search of his next favorite story, drawing crowds for the dancing girls on Ruby Road, or playing with the kids down in the Brume.

 about  The 3rd person to hold the name Robin. Tim now manages most, if not all, of Wayne Tech's business. Not that he minds, he likes the challenge and Ul'dah politics continue to intrigue him. Born to Jak and Janit Drake, the two Viis left the forest in pursuit of knowledge. After perishing to unknown circumstances, they left Tim as the surviving heir to the Drake name.Tim usually can be found studying a cold case or working on the next business deal. Someone has to make sure their night business is funded after all.

Osaulie's Keep provides shelter, food, and trade training for orphaned and low-income children in the Brume. Ever-expanding, the goal is to make sure everyone in the Brume, from child to adult, has a warm place to rest and a full stomach. Welcome to the first ever <WAYNE> FC Gala event! If you're not familiar with Batman NO WORRIES. This is an in universe FF14 RP event that just happens to have the Bat characters involved. We've worked the characters stories and lore to work within FF14 so no knowledge of comics or anything is needed to attend this event.Please come in your coziest winter glam OR your best formal attire as this event is hosted by the ever famous Bruyce Wayne for those in need by those who have.Also this is not an actual charity. We are RPing as if we are giving to an in game charity. You can RP as if you're someone donating to Osaulie's Keep, someone from Osaulie's Keep, or anything you want!The idea is the Wayne Foundation is giving to Osaulie's Keep and invited other upper class guests to do the same should they wish to. Bruce has also invited those from the Brume, Limsa, Gridania, and anywhere else he's ventured to attend. Not just the upper class! So you can use that as a jump point. SOME RULES - Those with the <WAYNE> tag and the MATERIA icon are the staff and people you should contact should you need to.- Please RESPECT everyone, including the staff.- If you know the Bat lore and have some judgements against the canon characters, please remember these are real people RPing the characters and might have different lore to fit within the FF14 universe. Please approach them as if you do not know anything about the canon characters.- This is a SFW event. You would've known him before his playboy ways got the better of him.- They say that Dik Grayson is an acrobat of some repute, and loves to show off.
